These single vineyard wines are made with minimal interference throughout vinification. During fermentation natural yeast is used and no enzymes. Maturation takes place in neutral vessels to bring through the unique vineyard character.

At the end of the McGregor valley lies Lord’s Wines – an oasis of sweeping vistas and fynbos. Here viticulturist Jacie Oosthuizen realised his dream in 2006, combining his love for cricket and wine. Lord’s Wines got its innings!

McGregor Winery lies south of the Robertson Wine Valley, just outside its charming namesake. The winery was established in 1948, and is owned by 33 farmers who produce around 14 000 tons of grapes annually. The relaxed pace of life and serenity of McGregor are reflected in the style of wines produced.

Out of Africa Café situated on the corner of Bree and Voortrekker street is situated in a space that is rich in local history and where fond memories are made. This “everything goes” Café offers all-day breakfast and light dining treats. We are known for locally produced continental sausages, legendary toasted sandwiches and of course warm local hospitality.

Robert and Anette Rosenbach produce a range of environmentally friendly wines handcrafted in their boutique winery in a way that expresses the terroir of McGregor, at the border to the Klein Karoo.

Their distillery is known for its European-style spirits (grappa and eau de vie). Book a tasting experience at the wine estate with owners Robert/Anette. By appointment only.

Tebaldi’s Restaurant This grand dame is an icon to the village of McGregor. After a major facelift and refurbishment has reopened with a stylish, contemporary look and a completely fresh approach to dining in the country. This restaurant offers dining in the Garden Room (weather dependant) or in the historical Manor House Dining Room. Our menu showcases vibrant, simple, modern country cuisine inspired by local and regional produce.
