First, apologies for the late arrival of this newsletter, which was intended for distribution during the third quarter of 2011, but is now going out in the last, as the year races to a close. In this newsletter you will find news of our work on the restoration of old houses in McGregor, what is happening in terms of the Krans Nature Reserve, our engagement with the youth of McGregor and the Museum.

[There is a comprehensive report on the subject of restoration in the AGM minutes and more will be forthcoming after the committee has had time reflect and think about the way forward. ]

We therefore ask that members state their position on this matter in a straw poll by emailing to Jennifer Johnson.
It is not necessary (or even helpful!) to support your position with reasons and argument - these have been cogently expressed already. Simply let us know where you stand on the issue of tarring further streets in the village. Thanks for your participation. Rob Leiper
