The historical Dove Cottage and Volkshuisie on Rhebokskraal Olive Estate is a haven for people who want to get away from high tech and time share.
The cottages are furnished with love and artistically decorated with views over the olive groves, vineyards and orchards. No TV or radios to remind you of financial crises or our country’s hassles, just you, your loved ones and of course, lots of books.
Dove Cottage has got a bath, Volkshuisie 2 showers, and both sides of Volkshuisie has got fire-places……but the swimming dam is closest to Dove cottage, something to consider in summer time. All the basics are in the cottages, linen, towels, cutlery and crockery,cooking utensils, microwave, fridge etc.
Go with Annalien on a walk and talk through the olive groves, learn to cure olives and for the kitchen fanatics, book a cooking course with the lady (rates on request), she loves to play with her olives and come up with the craziest ideas and tastes, but come and see what you can do with the ordinary olive…your time will depend on what you want to learn, let’s talk. Book way in advance to avoid disappointment. Rates for olive tours R145/person meal included.
