Mulberry Studio Artists:
Anne Binos – works in oils, watercolours, pastels and acrylic – mainly landscapes and still life – inspired by the wonderful scenery in McGregor and surrounds. Her work captures the special light and beauty of the sky and mountains of McGregor. Does commissions – horses, dogs etc. Light and gentle work.
Carey May – her art reveals the creative potential of the individual - portraits showing the inner world of serene calm and centered energy of women and men.Reservoirs of water are depicted in the background as the resource with which to sustain change and growth. Electric pylons and satellite dishes reflect my interest in exploring the connections between people.
Marianne Saddington – Acrylic and oil on board 31 x 22 cm - the quaint cottages and fields in the area, in bright, clear colours. Striking compositions and well chosen subject matter.
Victoria Dryden
Victoria's prime medium is oil on canvas although she enjoys the excitement of mixed media. Her main influences are Fauvists, Picasso, Klee, Matisse etc., expressing a strong statement with simple line drawing, and Marc Chagall, expressing a freedom of thought and emotion with the use of strong colour.
