I’m a full time artist living and working on my farm in McGregor. In the heart of the breede River Valley. Home is a converted barn set in an endless ‘empty’ space of Renosterveld and sky. It is in this silence and nothingness that I create my art.

I try to live the life I love which includes the whole carbodole from peace to chaos, vulnerability to liberation. I strive to express the resulting personal growth in my paintings with heartfelt simplicity rather than intellectual complexity.

My Oil paintings depict images such as flowers, figures, birds which become carriers of deeper meaning.The theme running through
all my work is inner transformation.

I have an honours degree in Fine Arts from Stellenbosch University (1980). My art career spans three decades and includes numerous solo and group exhibitions. My work is in private collections nationally and internationally.

On the 1st of December 2007 I opened my own gallery in McGregor which is now the EXCLUSIVE home of my art.
