Remember the good old days of the Royal, Majestic and Grand hotels which could be found in every small town in South Africa? You were treated as a friend and not a customer and it felt like being home.
At the Lady McGregor guesthouse, situated in the old McGregor Hotel which was built in 1936, you can relive those good old times.
This family-run establishment is continually beingrevamped to offer modern day luxuries and tastefully decorated rooms in this stately old building.
ACCOMMODATION
Situated on the 1st floor of the building, accommodation consists of one on-suite bedroom with double bed, one bedroom with twin beds, one bedroom with double bed, a kids' room with two double bunks, a separate full bathroom with shower, a toilet, a lounge with DSTV and tea and coffee-making facilities and a big veranda where guests can watch the sunset and have a braai (braai packs and salads can be supplied). We also have a swimming pool situated in our beautiful garden for the enjoyment of our guests to cool off in during those hot summer days.
Wireless internet is available throughout the building.
THE JACK & GRAPE RESTAURANT & PUB
Situated on the ground floor is our RASA affiliated a la carte restaurant which has both smoking and non-smoking sections offering our renowned steaks, world famous ribs, chicken, fish, vegetarian dishes, salads and desserts to satisfy all tastes. We also offer light lunches which is served in our garden, weather permitting, Children are welcome and a kids menu is available for children under 12 years.
Our fully licensed pub offers spirits, beers, ciders, liqueurs and cold drinks as well as a full range of wines from the Robertson Wine Valley. We also have Napier Lager and Ale on tap.
We accept all major credit cards excluding Diners Club and American Express. No cheques accepted.
