The African Queen Studio is a women's empowerment micro business which started as a home industry in McGregor, Western Cape, in 2000.
Exclusive home of the ethereal paintings of Edna Fourie. Our very own "Le Garagiste" winemaker! Mcgregor Alternative Technology Centre 'MAT' is situated on the on the outskirts of McGregor. We are an educational Institution teaching Sustainable Earth Building (cob, strawbale, adobe, wattle and daub), - Alternative Energy, e.g. solar, wind, water, - Natural Healing and Permaculture Paul & Nina welcome visitors to their showroom where work ranging from high temperature, wood-fired or conventional electric-fired stoneware and terracotta to more scupltural & decorative raku are on display. Jimmy & Anne Binos welcome you to their gallery which caters for the artists of McGregor. See us on the corner of Voortrekker and Tindall Streets.
